Gas Fired Systems

Using both natural gas and LPG our trained engineers can install a variety of systems including a range of modern gas fired combi boilers and highly efficient Sedbuk A rated condensing boilers.

Choosing a Gas Boiler

We can supply and install floor standing or wall-mounted boilers depending on your wall or floor space availability. You may wish to change your floor standing to a wall mounted to create more space or as part of a kitchen redesign.

Combination boilers or combi boilers are best suited to small to medium properties where the demand for hot water is less. Larger properties require a Non-combination boiler that can cope with supplying lots of hot water.

Condensing boilers are the most efficient way of turning gas into heat with some boilers providing over 90% efficiency. This will help to reduce your bills and protect the environment.

Heat Pumps

Our expertise covers the service and installation of a wide range of models using the principle of heat transfer by reverse cycle refrigeration.

Ground Source Heat Pumps are connected to a "ground loop" pipe buried at in the garden. The liquid in the pipe is warmed by the surrounding soil that, on average, remains between 10 and 13 degrees. This is then pumped and processed to provide temperatures of 40 - 65 degrees for passing through your radiators and hot water storage tank.

Air Source Heat Pumps are the same as ground source except that instead of taking energy from the ground they take energy from the outside air using an Air Handling Unit (AHU). The AHU box is situated outside the property and contains a large fan that draws air into the unit, transferring the energy from the air into large heat exchangers. This low level heat is concentrated and transferred by the heat pump to the wet central heating system within the house.
